Day 01: Haridwar /Dehradun – Rishikesh – Sirsi Guptkashi (200 kms / 07 -08 hrs approx)

Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station /Dehradun Airport & meeting and assistance with Driver & followed drive to Rishikesh do Yatra Registration formalities & further drive to Sirsi /Guptkashi , Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

GUPTKASHI:

Located in the Northern Himalayan belt within the Mandakini river valley, which has lush green forests. A number of streams and rivulets drain into the main Mandakini River. It has salubrious climate with its elevation being around 1,319 meters (4,330 ft). The snow sparkling view of the Chaukhamba peak is a lovely sight to behold in the morning hours from here. The valley has large magnolia trees (locally called Champa) that provide a sweet scented atmosphere to the place. Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Ardh Narishwar Temple is the attraction point.

Day 02: Sirsi /Guptkashi – Sonprayag Parking – Kedarnath ( 30 kms. / 02 hrs. drive & 16 Kms Trek approx )

After early breakfast drive to Sonprayag Parking to catch Sharing Local Jeep till Gaurikund then start trek to Kedarnath which is approx 16 kms (Doli/Pony options are available on direct payment basis) Reach Kedarnath by Late evening relax at Guest House  & evening  Do Darshan at Temple.   Dinner & overnight stay at Kedarnath.

KEDARNATH TEMPLE:

The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam – the main idol, a statue of Nandi – the celestial bull, a ‘Garba Grah’ for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Note : Kedarnath Helicopter Ticket will be on Extra Cost / subject to availability and Operation of Heli Services by Govt.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Sonprayag Parking – Sirsi /Guptkashi (By Same Way)

Perform early morning Pooja /Darshan at Temple & after breakfast start down trek to Gaurikund  by same Doli/Pony options & again take Local Jeep for Sonprayag Parking , Meet with your Driver & drive back to Guptkashi , in the evening visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple or Relax. Dinner & Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 04: Sirsi /Guptkashi – Badrinath (198 kms / 07 hrs approx)

After breakfast leave for Badrinath. En route visit Narsingh Temple, and Adi Sankracharya Samadhi at Joshimath, then drive to Badrinath. On arrival check in to hotel, later visit Vyas Cave, Ganesh Cave, Bhim Bridge & origin of River Saraswati at Mana village the last village before the Tibetan border, later go to temple for holy Darshan / Pooja & attend evening Arti. Dinner & Overnight stay at Badrinath.

BADRINATH:

Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines – Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with ‘badris’ or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was enable to with stand the force of its descent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

MANA VILLAGE:

Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. The women of the village offer Choli to the deity on closing day of the temple each year.

BHIM PUL:

On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

VYAS GUFA (CAVE):

Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Day 05: Badrinath – Srinagar (190 kms/06-07hrs approx)

Early Morning Mahaabhishek Pooja/ Darshan, back to hotel for breakfast then drive to Srinagar en-route s/seen of Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag & Rudraprayag. Drive to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Vishnuprayag : Confluence of Dhauli Ganga and River Alaknanda.
Karnprayag : Confluence of River Pindari and River Alaknanda.
Nandprayag : Confluence of River Nandakini and Alaknanda.
Rudraprayag : Confluence of River Mandakini and Alaknanda.

Day 06: Srinagar – Haridwar / Dehradun (130 Kms/149 Kms – 05/051/2 Hrs approx)

After breakfast drive for Haridwar /Dehradun En-route visiting Deoprayag, (The Confluence of river Alaknanada & Bhagirathi) to become Ganga. After reach Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport & Drop for onward journey.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • AC will not turn on while the vehicle at hills.
  • Tour cost does not include porter charger at Railway Station, Helicopter ticket for Kedarnath, Laundry, Telephone, tips, Ropeway Charges at Haridwar, entry fees if any Pooja/donations at temple.
  • In case of odd number group s, the extra person shall be accommodated in the same room with an extra bed Mattress.
  • Tour Company reserves the right to publish the passenger’s photograph or group photograph.
  • Type of transport vehicle can be changed in case short of passengers because our intention is not to disappoint tourist or cancellation of tour.
  • To make a booking a nonrefundable deposit of Rs. 10,000/ is required. Once this has been received confirmation of your booking (in the form of an invoice) will be sent to you. The balance amount must be paid 30 days prior to the departure date of tour. Otherwise we may treat the booking as being cancelled by you.
  • All the payments made by cheque or Online Transfer should be in favor of “MAHENDRA DESTINATIONS PVT. LTD.”
  • The price quoted in our brochure has been calculated at the rate prevailing at the time of printing of this brochure. The company reserves the right to amend the prices published in the brochure.
  • The customer has to bear the proportionate tour cost of extended stay or travelling due to extraneous circumstances.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel at any time any/all the tours without assigning any reason. In such cases the company’s responsibility shall be restricted to either refund without any compensation what so ever or keep the money for the next available tour if the customer so desires.
  • Tour company shall not be responsible for any injury, illness or death, terrorist attack, accident or any damage or claim of what So ever nature and any loss arising from it. The operator is not responsible for any criminal conduct by the third party.
  • Cancellation request must be made in writing.
  • There will be no Refund of any unutilized service in part or in full what so ever may be reason.
  • All disputes/ legal claims are subject to Dehradun jurisdiction only.

    ABOUT CHARDHAM YATRA

    Char Dham is referred to the four Hindu religious sites in Uttarakhand state of India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Nestled in the lap of majestic Himalayas, these four sites are the epicenter of religious activity in north India. Traditionally, the Chardham yatra is undertaken from the west to the east. Thus, the yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
